Do royal couples sleep in the same bed?

Discover the sleeping arrangements of these royal couples

Royal bedrooms are pretty spectacular with plenty of space, decadent décor and grand beds, but the question on everyone's lips is, do royal couples sleep in the same bed?

    Prince William and Princess Kate

The Prince and Princess of Wales now live in Adelaide Cottage after relocating from their residence Apartment 1A inside Kensington Palace, and their sleeping arrangements have subsequently changed. While at the palace, the couple's master bedroom was located on the ground floor, with staff occupying the above levels, but now it is more likely they sleep upstairs as most people do.

It has not ever been confirmed whether the couple sleep in the same bed, but considering their new property has just four bedrooms, it does seem very likely.

    The Queen and Prince Philip

Just as depicted in the Netflix series, , it is believed the late Queen Elizabeth II and her late husband Prince Philip did not sleep in the same bed, or even the same room. After all, Buckingham Palace had plenty of rooms for them to choose from – they could have stayed in entirely different wings if they wanted to!

King Charles III and Queen Consort Camilla

Do King Charles and his wife Queen Consort Camilla follow in the traditions of the late Queen? The royal couple have an array of royal residences up and down the country. They have their main property, Clarence House, in London as well as their country residence, Highgrove House in Gloucestershire.

It has been rumoured that the King and his wife have three bedrooms, one each and one to share, however this has never (and probably won't ever) been confirmed.
